I like to let my stories go where they seem to want to but I have in mind what I would love to happen and work to get there if the story allows it. It may seem odd to you that I give the story so much authority, but it is what works for me. There are so many ways to do this.

– Kami Garcia, #1 NY Times & International Bestselling co-author of the Beautiful Creatures Novels & Author of Unbreakable (The Legion Series) This endorsement comes from James Scott Bell’s website: http://www.jamesscottbell.com/index.html
I think that is what they call a ringing endorsement. I hope you agree. James Scott Bell also wrote an instructional book about short stories called: How to Write Short Stories and Use Them to Further Your Career.
